Only Ocean Kit (Handgefärbtes Garn)

Ein Set für Only Ocean - ein gestricktes Tuch by Sylvia McFadden using Martin's Lab Tibetan DK (3 or 4 skeins).

Jedes Set enthält:

- 3 or 4 Stränge Tibetan DK in der Farbe deiner Wahl,

-  eine gedruckte Ausgabe von "Stillness" book curated by Martin's Lab containting the instructions for the cowl and 10 more designs by various designers.

- Martin's Lab bedruckte Baumwoll-Projekttasche,

and one Beutel mit Wollwaschmittel (kein Spülen erforderlich).

Only Ocean was inspired by coastal storms, during which the waves which roll forward towards the shore look just like this lace. This classic lace pattern using twisted stitches really gives the illusion of waves. I paired the stitch with a classic crescent shawl to add to the stormy, ocean effect.

Pattern is written in one size, but different gauges may be used to adjust the dimensions.
Wingspan: 170 cm/67” (gray sample); 215 cm/
84.5” (pink sample).
Depth: 43 cm/17” (gray sample); 54 cm/21.25” (pink sample).

Yarn
3-4 Stränge Tibetan DK by Martin’s Lab (60% superwash merino, 20% yak, 20% silk; 232m/
212 y per 100 g). Shown in colorways Stormy
(3 skeins) and Crush (4 skeins).

Needles
4.0 mm/US #6; circular needle (60 cm/24” or longer).

Other
2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking materials.

Gauge
Gray sample: 19 sts and 27 rows = 10 cm/4” in wave pattern stitch worked flat, after blocking.
Pink sample: 15 sts and 21 rows = 10 cm/4” in wave pattern stitch worked flat, after blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
