A kit to make Komin Łowicki by Aleksandra Macul (Alexandra Factory) using Martin's Lab Tibetan DK.
Each kit includes:
- 1 skein (100 g) of Tibetan DK in the main color (MC)
- 6 mini skeins (25 g) of Tibetan DK, one in each contrast color (C1–C6)
- a printed copy of Generations or Pokolenia (if selected), a book curated by Martin's Lab with the Komin łowicki pattern and 12 more designs by various designers
- a Martin's Lab printed cotton project bag
- a sachet of no-rinse wool wash
The kit comes in the colors from the book. You can change them to any colors you like.

Yarn:
7 skeins of Tibetan DK by Martin’s Lab (60 % Superwash Merino, 20 % Yak, 20 % Silk; 212 m/232 yds in 100 g), including:
1 skein of MC (approx. 85 g) and 1 skein (approx. 25 g) of each CC.
Colors:
Ash (MC), Hot Fuchsia (C1), O’Hara (C2), Admiral (C3), Sapphire (C4), Sharewood (C5), One-Eyed Mike (C6).
Needles:
US 6/4 mm or size needed to obtain gauge; circular needles 80 cm/32” or double-pointed needles
Notions:
1 stitch marker, a tapestry needle, scissors
Gauge:
22 sts and 26 rnds = 10 cm/4” in stockinette stitch in the round
on US 6/4 mm needles after blocking
A swatch is not required for this project, but differences in tension will affect the final size and yarn consumption.
Construction:
The cowl begins with a provisional cast-on method and is worked in the round. Finally, the piece is folded inward and the edges are sewn using the Kitchener stitch.
