Dancing Palms Kit (Handgefärbtes Garn)

Ein Set für Dancing Palms Shawl - ein gestricktes Tuch by Justyna Lorkowska using Martin's Lab Bouncy Merino (2 skeins: 1 in each color required).

Jedes Set enthält:

- das Garn in den Farben: Caribbean Dreams and Jelly Fish,

- Martin's Lab bedruckte Baumwoll-Projekttasche,

and Beutel Soak-Wollwaschmittel (kein Spülen erforderlich).

The kit does not contain the printed pattern.

At the end of last year I participated in Nautical Knitting Cruise. One of my tasks as a teacher was to create a shawl that was easy enough to knit on when you leave the classroom, fun to make and pretty. My Hubby offered to create two new colors especcialy for that shawl: Carribean Blue (which seriously looks like the Carribean waters!) and a speckled contrast - named Jellyfish.
I loved every stitch, the fun constuction which looks like an arrowlike shawl but in fact is not, and the colorplay created by das Garns.
Today I have the pleasure to release the pattern for you. Grab two contsracting skeins, cast on and watch the fun texture be born

If you'd like to use the same colors here are the kits.

**Size**
One: approx. 170cm/67” wide and 65 cm/25.5” long at center spine.

**Yarn**
2 Stränge Bouncy Merino by Martin’s Lab (100% high twist merino, 366m/399y per 100g). Shown in colorways: Jelly Fish CC1, Caribbean Dreams CC2.

**Needles**
4.0 mm/US #6 circular needle (80 cm/32" long).

**Other**
1 stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving.

**Gauge**
18 sts and 44 rows = 10 cm/4" in Garter st measured flat after wet blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
