Kaszebe Kit

A kit to make Kaszebe Sweater by Iwona Eriksson using Martin's Lab Highland 4-ply.

Each kit includes:

• 2–3 skeins (100 g) of Highland 4-ply in the main color (MC)
• 1–2 mini skeins (20 g) of Highland 4-ply in contrast color CC1
• 1 mini skein (20 g) of Highland 4-ply in each of the contrast colors CC2–CC5
• a printed copy of Generations or Pokolenia (if selected), a book curated by Martin's Lab with the Rozeta pattern and 12 more designs by various designers
• a Martin's Lab printed cotton project bag
• a sachet of no-rinse wool wash

The number of skeins depends on the size:

The kit comes in the colors from the book. You can change them to any colors you like.

Needles:
US 2.5/3 mm or size needed to obtain gauge; circular needles 40–100 cm/16”–40”
US 2/2.75 mm or 0.25 mm smaller size than for the rib gauge; circular needles 40 cm/16”
US 3/3.25 mm or 0.25 mm bigger size than for the colorwork gauge; circular needles 80–100 cm/32”–40”

Notions:
Stitch markers (2 distinctive ones marked as mBOR and M2 in the pattern), scrap yarn or stitch holders for the sleeve stitches, a tapestry needle, scissors.

Gauge:
28 sts and 38 rows = 10 cm/4” in stockinette stitch in the round
on US 2.5/3 mm needles after blocking, unstretched.

To save your time, check your gauge.
Change the needle size to obtain the right measurements.

Construction:
The sweater is made seamlessly, from the top down. The yoke, body and sleeves are worked in the round. The neckline is shaped with short rows. After dividing for body and sleeves, each part is worked separately, from the top down.
Short sleeves and a fairly thin yarn give the design a light and summery feel.
The yoke is decorated with colorwork floral elements.
Note: Since this is a rather advanced and irregular pattern, carefully read the instructions in the box before you begin. Pay close attention to the notes provided to avoid any difficulties when knitting this section.
