Xander Kit (Hilo Teñido a Mano)

Turquoise/Rust colored version (individual sale):
Knitter’s Kitchen Yak Merino Fingering (60% Merino, 20% Yak, 10% Nylon), 400 meters / 437 yards per 100g, 2 skeins.
Colorways used: C1: “Peacock”; C2: “Dark Rust”.
You can use any fingering weight yarn with the approximate same yardage.

Red/Light grey version (from Homecoming collection):
Martin’s Lab Aubrey Sport (55% SW BFL, 45% Silk), 300 m/328 yds per 100g.
Colorways used: C1: Marilyn; C2; Lappato.
**PLEASE NOTE** that the instructions in the Homecoming collection are slightly different (change in section repeats), allowing for the shorter yardage of el hilo.

Needles:
3,75 mm / US 5 circulars (or size needed for gauge), 80 cm / 32 inches.

Other:
3 stitch markers, one of which is removable, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:
Sample uses gauge of 16,5 sts & 29 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch worked flat, after blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
