Wiosna Shawl by Comfort Zone Knits

About the Pattern

Wiosna — Spring in Polish — is an airy, delicate one-skein shawl shaped as an asymmetrical triangle. Worked seamlessly on the bias, sideways from the narrow tip toward the bind-off edge, alternating garter stitch and lace stitch, and finished with picots that add charm and lightness.

A Martin's Lab × Comfort Zone Knits collaboration: this pattern was developed with our yarn support, and the original samples were knit using three of our hand-dyed bases.

Recommended Yarn

The original samples were knit in three of our fingering-weight bases — pick the one that matches your style:

  • Merino Singles — light pink sample, colourway Cherry Flowers (100% merino, 366 m / 100 g)
  • Comfy Merino — speckled brown-pink sample, colourway For the Love (100% merino, 400 m / 100 g)
  • Tibetan Singles — blue sample, colourway Denim (65% merino · 20% silk · 15% yak, 480 m / 120 g)

Any fingering-weight skein with approximately 360–480 m will work beautifully.
