Tibetan 4ply - PREORDER (Hand-Dyed Yarn)

This lush blend of 4ply merino, yak and silk takes dye beautifully, for vivid and dark colors with a lovely sheen.

It is great for sweaters and shawls, scarves.

Tibetan 4ply is hand-dyed yarn in many harmonizing colors, allowing you to create wonderful compositions.

Weight - fingering - 100 grams
Fibre - 60% superwash merino, 20% yak, 20% silk 
Length - 366 meters / 400 yards

Although the skeins come from the same dye bath, they can vary. If working with two or more skeins I recommend alternating strands to obtain a uniform fabric.

Due to the delicate nature of single ply yarns, we do not recommend using it for making socks or any other hardwear knits.

Care:
Even though this yarn is super wash I recommend a cool hand wash in a mild detergent. Although every effort is made to exhaust the dye bath of color you may find a little color bleed on the first wash.
