Amelia Hat by Comfort Zone Knits

About the Pattern

Amelia is a classic hat — beanie or slouchy — knit bottom-up in the round. Its cable-like lacy texture is built entirely from knits, purls, and yarn overs, making the knitting engaging without being technically demanding. The pattern is written in two sizes and two lengths, so it works for any head and any mood.

A Martin's Lab × Comfort Zone Knits collaboration. The original sample was knit using one skein of our Tibetan DK in the "What's up" colourway.

Recommended Yarn

Amelia was designed for our Tibetan DK — one skein is enough for the entire hat.

  • Tibetan DK — luxurious blend, 60% merino · 20% yak · 20% silk; deep colour and subtle sheen (212 m / 100 g). Original sample colourway: What's up

If Tibetan DK is unavailable in your preferred colourway, Comfy DK works beautifully as an alternative:

  • Comfy DK — pure superwash merino, soft and bouncy (225 m / 100 g)
